Mother & Baby Wellness
Mum and Baby Yoga
Postnatal classes led by Elaine, a certifed Gym instructor ITEC, Postnatal Doula, and Baby Yoga teacher.
Focus is on mammas in this class, enjoying the opportunity to stretch and strengthen postnatally, core and pelvic floor work, and increase energy and fitness levels.
We flow from Mamma Yoga to Baby Yoga for babies, with songs and rhymes and fun interaction for babies right up to 18 months.
The class ends with a lying down guided meditation. Deep rest allows your body to release tensions and heal, the mind to clear and the emotions to balance.
The classes are fun, informal and baby led. Mums will stop to feed or soothe their babies and will then rejoin.
As a mum, Elaine knows the first few weeks and months of motherhood can be physically, mentally and emotionally challenging. Yoga can help bring a deep sense of mind and body wellbeing, and the chance to relax with your baby, and new mamma friends. Elaine is passionate about supporting the postnatal period, often refered to as the 4th trimester and matrescence.
The classes are divided into two -

❀ Friday Mum & Baby Yoga - this class is focused on mums with smaller babies who aren’t yet on the move and we also incorpate baby yoga into the class

“I would highly recommend the Mamma and Baby yoga classes and the baby massage classes. The atmosphere in the classes is wonderfully relaxed and the instructor Elaine is able to naturally create a supportive and encouraging environment for everyone in the room. My daughter and I really enjoyed the classes, we got so much from them and we were able to have some really special bonding time together 💗. We loved everyone minute of it.”
“Such an enjoyable and supportive class especially for a first time Mom! Great exercises for baby and Mommy, really beneficial. Looking forward to my second term with Luca starting!”
“Lainey’s class is so much more than yoga or baby massage which are both highly recommended but she is always encouraging Moms in the class to create a network of support for each other. Highly recommend her classes for physical and mental well being.”
“I have really enjoyed all the classes I have done with Elaine (pregnancy yoga, baby massage & baby yoga).
But I must mention the Mamma & Baby Yoga classes were the highlight of my week. As a busy mum of a toddler and baby, I found this class was the one hour in the week where I could have some one on one time with my baby.
I left the class each week feeling totally relaxed and energised. You don’t realised how much tiredness and tension you are holding on to until you let it go during the class.
Thanks so much. ”
“The best mammy yoga in town!!! Lots of supportive chat and very mamma and baby friendly. Not just Yoga but a whole mamma community. Highly recommend ”
