Fertility Yoga helps prepare mind, body and heart for fertility and conception
Our specially tailored workshop combines Yoga, breathing, and fertility based meditations to help you on your fertility journey. In this workshop you will also practice Mindfulness, visualisation and relaxation techniques that you can take home with you and use in daily life. Knowing that you are not alone as you sit in a circle of support can offer healing for the mind and heart.
How does it work?
- Balance Hormone Levels
- Increase Energy and Blood Flow
- Stimulates Reproductive System
- Supports and Regulates the Endocrine System
- Reduces levels of Stress Hormones in the Body
- Promotes Positive frame of mind
- Builds Life-force Energy or Prana in the Body
- Relaxation techniques for Mind and Body
The slow meditative restorative Yoga practice offers you the opportunity to fully relax by holding simple yoga poses passively with support, for an extended time. Cushions and blankets are used to allow you to fully let go in mind and body to bring about healing and balance. Gentle restorative Yoga poses increase circulation of blood and hormones to the ovaries, uterus and surrounding areas.
Muscular tension and ligament tightness is released to help bring the pelvis and hips into alignment.
Yoga can help balance reproductive hormones and breathing techniques help activate the relaxation response.
Fertility Yoga provides you with the tools to support your physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing and compliment any therapy a woman is taking to become pregnant
Fertility stress management is an important part of the workshop. Trying for a baby should be a fun and exciting time in you and your partner’s life. However, when you experience a negative result month after month, the stress can start to add up and take its toll. This stress can further hinder the body’s natural ability to become pregnant. Fertility Yoga can help relieve some of the stress that comes with trying to conceive, and the emotional disappointment which can lead to anxiety and low self esteem.
Fertility based affirmations and visualisations encourage positive mindfulness and release fears, doubts and anxieties.
From a client undergoing IUI treatment the day after the workshop:
I loved the class. I had never done yoga before so I didn’t know what to expect but it was so relaxing and nice to take the time out for myself.
I used all your tips to keep relaxed yesterday before and after the treatment it really helped.
I’ll definitely be going to the next one or the pregnancy class if all goes well now.
Thanks so much
Is to offer women a relaxed space to take back control of their fertility and reconnect their mind and bodies through Yoga and breath awareness, and nourishing the heart.
Most importantly, the classes will help reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness by providing a friendly, supportive environment to chat if you wish, and share with other women undergoing a similar fertility journey as you.
Lots of time is given at the beginning and end of the workshop to chat, share and gain advice over a cuppa!
You will leave the workshop
Feeling more connected, empowered and with lots of tools to help you cope and face any obstacles that you may face, helping you feel stronger and positive.
Join a Private Community so you can keep in touch with women you’ve met in the workshop and avail of on-going support from Elaine and others in between workshops.
All are welcome

Definitely felt like I managed to stop my mind going a mile a minute for the first time in a while. Slept better than I have in ages and will definitely attend again. Will try and keep the tears to a minimum..you were very kind.”
” I really enjoyed last Sunday and can’t thank you enough. It has helped me alot this week in helping relax and unwind. ”
I really really enjoyed yesterday – painful at times but that’s a good thing.
Its had a lasting effect I think, I was emotional again last night and even today. Its helped me shift all of my thinking – what am I doing right now and by doing that am I “minding myself” or being kind to myself. I think you very easily get caught up in how your body is “failing” or “not doing what its supposed to do”.
The girls are all further down the road in ways, but its the same emotions. I really hope all of them have success.
Thanks for creating such a brilliant and important space for everyone to benefit from xx
